The Electrostatic Bed for the Silhouette Portrait 4 ensures that even the thinnest materials such as tissue paper adhere without the use of a cutting mat. This prevents tearing of thin materials and delicate patterns in particular.
The Electrostatic Bed generates static electricity, causing the material to adhere to the bed and allowing it to be cut without a cutting mat.
Important: For optimal adhesion, it is necessary that the placed material has a smooth surface. Ribbed or heavily textured materials will not adhere to the bed.
