Achieve special effects with the engraving tool
Thanks to the new engraving tool from Silhouette, you now have the option of applying great surface engravings to materials such as acrylic or thin metal sheets.
By applying pressure to the surface and a permanent rotating movement of the tool tip, the motif is engraved into the material. Precisely because of the constant rotary movement of the tip, the engraving is done much more cleanly than with tools that work exclusively with pressure.
The Silhouette engraving tool can only be used with the Silhouette Curio 2.
