What a reunion! The successor to the popular SILHOUETTE Curio is here - as a flatbed plotter! More power, better technology, new tools - no wishes remain unfulfilled here.
Different technology, different possibilities
Unlike a roll plotter, which feeds in transparencies via a roll, for example, the material is simply placed on a flatbed plotter. This offers a number of advantages:
For example, the Curio 2 can paint or engrave materials up to 20mm thick. In addition, the electrostatic bed ensures that even the thinnest materials can be inserted without a cutting mat and plotted without tearing. The cutting area of the Curio 2 covers a size of 30.5 x 30.5 cm.
The right tool for every application
The Curio 2 is equipped with two tool heads and also offers you a wealth of compatible tools and power tools. At your disposal are:
Hot Transfer Pens, Engraving Tool, Punch Tool, Universal Pen Holder, Embossing Tool, Automatic knife, Manual knife, Power knife and Roller knife.
The choice is entirely up to you: Create great metallic effects with the hot transfer pens, engrave metal or acrylic, emboss your stationery, die cut great stencils, paint stunning murals or plot your designs from paper, foil, cardstock and more.
Easy-to-use software and extra memory
Create your designs on your Pc or Mac with the free Silhouette Studio software. If you wish, you also have 1 gigabyte of free cloud storage at your disposal. Of course, you can also save your files on your own computer. You can connect the plotter itself via USB cable or via Bluetooth.
